Home Shweet Home

I'm home :)

Happy and sad too.

Happy because I'm home, but sad because I know I won't be home for long, and because I feel that whatever (crazy things) I do, in the end I'm always swept aside anyway.

Brushed aside.

Like, fake sense of security much?

Sigh.

Anyways, thanks to Daniel and Jason who were nice enough to understand my stupidity... I'm looking forward to see you(s) soon :)

Daddy wants me to do Honours and continue on with Masters... oh boy.

At Perth Airport

I'm using a very weird computer at the Perth International airport. Paid 2 bucks to use super fast internet for 13 minutes. Gah.

After exam I terus berbus to Adelaide airport... took Tiger to Perth. It was a 3 hours plus flight and was rather turbulent :S roughest landing I've experienced so far, but pleasant nonetheless. My neck totally sakit gila, I just went to buy a neck pillow. I reached Perth 5 minutes past midnight and took a shuttle bus to the international terminal... then made a bench my temporary bed. My next flight, Perth to Singapore, is at 9.30pm WTF. Gyah. All for the sake of cheap. Anyway, I managed to snooze a little bit. Wearing a mask all the way through. Ate bit of breakfast. I'm just glad exams are over and I'm on the way home.

Anyway, update later. Typing on this keyboard is a bitch with my nail extensions.

R. I. P.

First I read yesterday night from Perez Hilton's tweets that Farah Fawcett has died. R.I.P. to her, she was so resilient in her battle against cancer.

Then today morning I saw that, oh gosh, Michael Jackson has passed away?

Cause of death not known yet, but he was found to be not breathing in his home, died in the hospital. I have a sneaky suspicion that his nose collapsed when he was asleep :S

Oh okay, E! News said he died from heart attack, he had been rehearsing nonstop for his comeback tour. Darn. Whatever freakish things he'd been accuse of, nobody can deny that Michael Jackson made good pop music. I just wished he didn't go for so many freaky plastic surgeries. I'd blame his darn parents for being so controlling, forcing him to enter showbiz so young..

Bless them!

On the other hand...

Yummy! A candyfloss pink ferrari :D Loves loves. I probably will never be able to afford one (who knows, though) but maybe I should go make a toy model of this, hehe.
Complete with a pink and white LV leather interior. Oohlala.

Now bless me, I gotta finish up my Forensic Psych exam.

Ugh

It has become customary for me to check Twitter on ippie before I go to bed, seeing wat angmohs and Asian celebs have been up to (and a few of my friends who actually tweet). I lurve Twitter. But I admit you gotta have Twitter on ur mobile otherwise it's not as fun.

Optus emailed me telling that I'm eligible for a free upgrade to a 32 gb White or black iPhone 3gs, but I'll have to sign a two year contract with them. A two year contract is barely even worth half the cost of a spanking new 32gb iPhone 3gs. Hmm. Tempting!

I absolutely was satisfied with two of my exam papers so far ^_^. Two more to go. Don't have much expectations for these remaining two. Lol.

I got back home at 11.45pm (stupid bus) and had a little supper. Then spent the following three hours doing a DIY gel nail french manicure extensions. WTF. Didn't know it was so difficult. No wonder it's so expensive to do in salons. It's a bit messy, but I daresay it's not bad for a first try ^_^.

Of course, this would mean that I will need to get up extra early in order to finish up the take home exam paper.

The nails are only a small part of my 'preparations' but I guess j may be wasting my efforts.

Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence

I have always lurved Utada Hikaru. Her new English album rocks.

Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence was a good song in the first place. It was composed by Ryuichi Sakamoto, which for me is one of the best popular+orchestral composers, along with Joe Hisashi (who did most of the songs in Hayao Miyazaki's movies... you know... Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle.. Totoro?) and Nobuo Uematsu (composer of almost all songs on Final Fantasy and Kingdom Heart series). Add that with Hikki's husky voice and good sense of music production (albeit with lyrics that often don't make sense when in English), and you've got me looping it on Ippie (along with my Sennheisers <3).

For those of you who don't know, Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence was an old Hollywood movie, starring David Bowie among other notable angmohs and jepun langs. It's a story about a prisoner of war during World War II. The characters are all MALE (hence, no surprise there's a bit of homosexuality issues here). This song was composed for the ending, whereby an angmoh Colonel named John Lawrence visited a Jepun Sergeant dude called Gengo Hara, who was about to be executed the next day. The movie ends with Hara wishing Lawrence Merry Christmas (hence the title of the song) and bidding goodbye for the last time. If memory serves me right (I watched the movie ages ago), Hara and Lawrence had some funny feeling thingy going on (ah, forbidden shounen ai :S). Hence, the song is both somewhat sad and happy.

This is the piano version. Super beautiful! I'm gonna learn how to play this when I get back home!

Bee bee faster go learn and play for me :P Wonder if he remembered my other requests.

Just for kicks, this is the trance version of the song, which, so far, is one of the best trance songs I have heard. Good trance songs apparently don't exist nowadays -_-.

That said, I'm back to studying.

RPatz schmatz

I have no effing idea what is it with Robert Pattinson that people like so much.

CAN'T YOU ALL SEE HE CAN'T BLOODY ACT AND HE IS SOOOO NOT HANDSOME AT ALL???

Edward Cullen, in the book, projects an image that if need to, I'd put the face of Adonis the Greek/Roman god on the character. Or maybe like, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers.

But Robert Pattinson??? He's skinny, scruffy, and totally overrated hallooo?? Geesh~

Anyways, two days after having taken out the earrings from my second cartillage piercing, the holes have closed already. And, I do look better with just one top piercing I think :)

My Sennheiser earphones have arrived. <3
